Pediatric Occupational Therapist
Position Summary We are currently hiring a full time pediatric OT. Placement is in our new state-of-the-art facility! You will be responsible for planning, evaluating, organizing, and conducting pediatric occupational therapy programs to facilitate growth in areas such as sensory-motor development, emotional regulation, gross, fine and visual motor skill, and activities of daily living. Position Qualifications Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Occupational Therapy and licensed in the State of California. Minimum Experience: One+ years of clinical experience in a pediatric therapy setting. Proficiency in conducting evaluations in a pediatric clinic-based setting. Required skills include planning, administering, scoring, and interpreting tests related to development in both sensory processing and motor coordination. Effective written and oral communication skills are also required throughout this process.
Required Certification and/or Registration: Registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Licensed by the California Board of Occupational Therapy (CBOT)
Position Accountabilities
Administer pediatric occupational therapy to children in a clinic setting
Conduct in-depth evaluations which include both standardized testing and structured clinical observations
Determine areas of concern, identify goals and develop treatment plans for clients.
Document results concisely and accurately of client’s evaluation, treatment, follow-up and termination of services.
Maintain thorough, up-to-date treatment notes and goal data on each client.
Develop appropriate home programs for clients when applicable, demonstrating developmental strategies for perceptual, motor, and sensory improvement.
Provide direction, training, and assistance to interns and volunteers assigned to the occupational therapy program.
Demonstrate positive interaction with co-workers, clients and families, treating all with respect and responsiveness to their needs.
Attend staff and in-service meetings, with the opportunity to occasionally lead a portion of the in-service training.
Exhibit knowledge of health and safety for the children and yourself, including Cal/OSHA standards.
Follows AOTA guidelines for ethical and high-quality job performance.
Arrive to work promptly and demonstrate good time management skills.
Identify continuing education needs and pursue continuing education courses.
Perform related duties as assigned. Physical Demands: Moderate physical effort (lift/carry/push up to 25 lbs), standing/walking, occasionally lifts supplies and/or equipment, occasional reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching, manual dexterity and mobility.

We are looking for an experienced and independent SLP to join our leadership team as the Head of the Speech Department for one of our east bay locations. This position is responsible for recruiting and retaining staff, caseload management, clinical education, supervision, program development, and direct patient care. Duties:
Recruit, interview and hire speech therapy staff
Supervise CF's
Supervise SLPA's
Work closely with staff SLP's to develop, and oversee their professional education plan
Implement weekly staff meetings
Conduct clincial eduction programs, facilitate case study presentations and cross discipline collaboration meetings
Ensure department maintains highest level of clincial integrity and provides evidenced based practice for best outcomes
Works collaboratively with OT department head
Minimum Requirements:
Master’s Degree or equivalent Speech Language Pathology from an accredited educational institution
Must have ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
Must have Speech-Language Pathologist license in the State of California
4+ years of experience as a licensed clinician
Leadership experience
Caseload Management experience
Training in PROMPT, Hanen, AAC, and Gestalt Language is a plus.
Previous pediatric treatment experience required
Must be able to pass a background check
Proof of immunization records and TB required
CPR certification is preferred
