Who We Are

At Child’s Play Therapy Services, we are dedicated to helping children build the skills needed for successful relationships and a positive sense of self.
As occupational therapists, we believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to participate meaningfully in their daily roles and occupations—the activities that give life purpose and fulfillment. What We Do

Guided by the principles of joy, love, and acceptance, we create a supportive environment where children can engage, learn, and flourish through meaningful daily activities.

Occupational therapy at Child's Play focuses on using developmentally appropriate play to enhance a child's ability to fulfill the many roles in his or her life: play partner, teammate, student, and so on. We build skill through play!
Therapy for Sensory Processing Disorder.
Our sensory-based therapy addresses developmental issues related to SPD: modulation of sensation, motor planning, motor control and postural control. Tools that are used in sensory integration therapy include interventions such as Integrated Listening Systems, The Listening Program with bone conduction, Interactive Metronome, the Astronaut Program, Brain Gym, Reflex Integration and Zones of Regulation.
Our occupational therapy–led team includes highly skilled speech-language pathologists who collaborate closely with our OTs to support each child’s ability to engage meaningfully in daily life.
Together, they address a wide range of speech and language disorders, including communication challenges related to autism spectrum disorders, receptive and expressive language delays, articulation and phonological disorders, hearing-related speech impairments, fluency/stuttering, voice disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, and social-pragmatic language difficulties.
At Child’s Play Therapy Services, our occupational therapists lead a collaborative team that includes speech-language pathologists to provide individualized feeding therapy for children with eating challenges. Rooted in occupational therapy, our approach supports each child’s ability to participate in mealtime as a meaningful daily activity. Using sensory-based, child-led, and evidence-informed methods, we help children expand food variety, improve oral motor skills, and develop confidence and comfort with eating—creating positive, joyful mealtime experiences that promote both growth and well-being.
